CSI INTERNATIONAL, INC. Value Added Building Services CSI uses several standard validation tools to ensure that we are continually providing the Value Added Building Services promised with uncompromising quality. Our staff is our most valuable asset and everyone in the CSI family is entitled to a safe and healthful workplace. Employee health and safety is one of our business priorities and it is a CSI objective to support a clean, safe and healthy work setting for all employees. CSI complies with all safety and health requirements that are enforced by local, state and federal agencies. CSI will provide safety procedures, administrative commands, personal protective gear and instruction to dampen and diminish exposure to dangerous material and stop injury and illness. CSI has developed, and will continually refine, policies, rules, and procedures, which will contribute to the safety of all employee. Creation and preservation of a safe environment is the shared responsibility of management and staff at all levels of the organization. For this purpose, all reasonable efforts needs to be made to accomplish the goal of improved safety and health preservation. Our thinking is to command and reduce, to the greatest amount possible, any risk associated in the performance of our Value Added Building Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Fully and completely support the Safety Program, Maintain a working environment that is safe and healthy for the employees, Comply with occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain a successful accident avoidance program. CSI expects all staff members to work according to solid safe practices as posted, instructed, and reviewed. Management require that employees observe and obey every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe conduct of work, and shall take such appropriate steps needed to obtain compliance. Employees will submit to the company safety protocol by obeying all safety rules, telling management about unsafe situations and recommending actions to improve the effectiveness of the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so important—nor any service so urgent—that staff cannot take the time to work safely. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will abide by its clients recycling treatments. We are accountable to develop, handle, and totally support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients as well as our staff members. Our obligations include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our workers in the importance of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate participation and promote a positive mindset towards recycling, Serve as a liaison between CSI and our clients, Assist our customers with the implementation of their recycling procedures, Adhere to governmental guidelines worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a positive attitude towards waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Advise or suggest ways of reducing waste. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI staff members must follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for exclusive information, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleansing items, Speak with your Manager or the Recycling Organizer of the center for any additional details concerning the center's recycling procedures. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, tosses caps and lids in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
