Development and preservation of a safe environment is the shared responsibility of management and employees at all levels of the organization. To this end, all practical efforts needs to be made to accomplish the intention of accident prevention and protecting employee health. Our thinking is to control and minimize, to the greatest extent possible, any risk involved in the undertaking of our Business Facility Maintenance. CSI has the accountability to: Perfectly and thoroughly sustain the Safety Program, Maintain a workplace that is safe and healthful for the employees, Follow occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate an advantageous accident prevention plan. We expect all employees to work in a manner of good safety procedures as posted, instructed, and reviewed. Management shall insist that staff witness and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe performance of their job, and shall take such appropriate steps necessary to obtain compliance. Staff will subscribe to CSI’s safety program by following all safety rules, telling management about unsafe situations and bringing up possible ways to improve the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so pertinent—nor any service so urgent—that employees should avoid working safely. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its customers recycling treatments. We are responsible to develop, handle, and fully support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients along with our workers. Our obligations include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our workers in the importance of environmental and recycling practices, Motivate participation and foster a positive attitude towards recycling, Serve as a liaison in between CSI and our customers, Help our clients with the application of their recycling treatments, Comply with governmental regulations concerning the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive mindset to waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Suggest or suggest ways of lowering waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI staff members need to follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Use separate containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary info, Do not get rid of disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleaning items, Speak with your Supervisor or the Recycling Organizer of the facility for any extra details relating to the center's recycling procedures.
