Creation and preservation of a safe setting is a joint function of management and staff at all levels of the organization. For this reason, all practical efforts needs to be made to accomplish the goal of accident prevention and health preservation. Our philosophy is to control and eliminate, to the greatest amount possible, any risk associated in the undertaking of our Cleaning Services. CSI has the accountability to: Perfectly and thoroughly sustain the Safety Program, Maintain a working environment that is safe and healthful for the employees, Adhere to occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain an effective accident prevention plan. We expect all staff members to work in a manner of good safety procedures as displayed, instructed, and talked about. Management require that employees visualize and follow every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe conduct of work, and require they take appropriate steps needed to secure compliance. Staff will subscribe to the company safety protocol by obeying all safety rules, telling management about unsafe situations and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so crucial—nor any service so urgent—that employees cannot take the time to work safely. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is devoted to providing a clean and healthy place of employment for every one of our employees and your building’s tenants. Presidential Executive Order 13101, issued in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton lead the facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities globally to begin the use of green cleaning products. The Order also defined green cleaning for the first time, stating that green cleaning is the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning is now the most favorable use of products that minimize indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Maintaining of a healthy environment is the shared task of supervisors and staff at every stage of the CSI company. All staff is trained and held responsible to reach the goal of reducing the exterior’s impact on the local environment and to highlight and execute environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI understands that the principle of stewardship-- "the obligation for managing, conducting or monitoring the quality, state or condition of an institutional or business structure"- is essential to the green cleansing point of view and integral to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is devoted to follow a set of stewardship principles that have been established by pioneers of the green cleansing movement. These principles will assist in our efforts to be good stewards of the buildings we service, their residents, our workers, and the overall environment.
