To reach this high mark CSI has developed the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality process throughout all departments of our business. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the implementation and adherence to our top levels for assessing job performance, implementing training programs and identifying and surpassing our client’s expectations. The end result is the achieving of service excellence for the client. CSI utilizes many standard validation tools to ensure that we are consistently providing the Facilities Services promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its customers recycling treatments. We are accountable to develop, manage, and totally support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients as well as our staff members. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our workers in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and promote a positive attitude towards recycling, Serve as a liaison in between CSI and our clients, Assist our customers with the implementation of their recycling treatments, Adhere to governmental policies concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste items. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive attitude towards waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Suggest or recommend methods of reducing waste. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI staff members should follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Use different containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary details, Do not discard disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing products for our cleaning items, Speak with your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the center for any extra information regarding the facility's recycling treatments.
CSI DECREASES, REUSES, RECYCLES. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Usage different containers for trash and recyclable products at your desk and main locations, Print double sided (conserves up to 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to alleviate paper checks to assist reduce the general ecological footprint of our company, Print just when needed, Evidence reads files for errors before printing to prevent waste, Sends out e-mail memos to save paper, Prevents printing emails, Reviews any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk for centralized storage, Utilizes email instead of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off totally in the evening and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases durable devices, Has paper recycling stations beside copy machines and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (On average they consume 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal blood circulation, Recycles tidy side of used paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Attempts to use paper for more than one purpose, Reuses incoming product packaging and boxes for outgoing deliveries, Eliminates plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and utilize multiple-use mugs, Repair works furnishings where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and use as packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (most likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, tosses caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
