CSI International, Inc. owners, Jayne and Geoff Hammond, have over 30 years of expertise in the Facility Maintenance field. After 19 years of managing building operations for a Fortune 20 corporation, the Hammonds’ left the corporate world and started CSI. The success of their hard work is evident in the expansion of CSI from 12 employees in 1989 to over 1700 employees currently managing buildings of 100,000 to 3.0 + million square feet in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest. What started 20 years ago as a simple, family-owned Janitorial Company is now a thriving family-owned facility services provider offering a multitude of Facility Maintenance to owners and managers of corporate buildings. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste decrease and will comply with its clients recycling procedures. We are accountable to establish, manage, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our workers. Our obligations include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our employees in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and promote a positive attitude to recycling, Act as an intermediary in between CSI and our customers, Help our clients with the execution of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental regulations concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and healing of waste products. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive mindset towards waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Advise or suggest methods of decreasing waste. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI employees must follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage separate containers to collect recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing products for our cleansing products, Talk to your Supervisor or the Recycling Coordinator of the center for any extra details relating to the facility's recycling procedures. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, tosses caps and covers in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
