To create this culture our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management plan, and a set of disciplines that are coordinated to all departments and levels of the organization to insure that we continuously meet or surpass our customer’s expectations. CSI’s upper management team has dedicated themselves to organize its Leed Green Nation Operations strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s needs, and to develop and strengthen a culture with high employee participation. Quality for CSI is a process of continued improvement, not just an examination protocol. It means supervision and management must enforce a set directive of Leed Green Nation Operations everyone follows and trusts. To meet this challenge CSI has created the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing our QA Program and to focus on the quality procedures throughout all departments of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the execution and devotion to our high standards for measuring job performance, implementing training programs and acknowledging and exceeding our customer’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has deployed the Eye on Quality program. This program’s objective is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our clients. Our clients will get regular quality reports by email or hard copy. These inspection reports will provide a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Leed Green Nation Operations. Every company has unique situations that require us to individualize a program that supports its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision accountable, and employees informed. The end result is the achievement of service excellence for the client. CSI utilizes many standard validation tools to ensure that we are continually providing the Leed Green Nation Operations promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its clients recycling procedures. We are accountable to develop, manage, and completely support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our staff members. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our staff members in the significance of environmental and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and promote a favorable mindset to recycling, Function as a liaison between CSI and our clients, Help our clients with the application of their recycling procedures, Abide by governmental policies concerning the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive attitude towards waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Suggest or recommend ways of decreasing waste. At our Customers' center-- All CSI employees need to follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary details, Do not throw away disposable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleansing items, Speak with your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the center for any extra details regarding the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and main locations, Print double sided (conserves approximately 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to minimize paper checks to assist decrease the general ecological footprint of our company, Print only when necessary, Proof reads files for mistakes prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends out email memos to save paper, Avoids printing e-mails, Examines any paper copy storage, replace with a back- up hard disk for central storage, Utilizes e-mail instead of corresponding by post, Changes equipment off totally in the evening and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases resilient equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to copy machines and printers, Utilizes energy efficient light bulbs (Usually they consume 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal blood circulation, Reuses clean side of used paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Aims to use paper for more than one function, Reuses inbound product packaging and boxes for outgoing shipments, Gets rid of plastic drink cups from the water cooler and use multiple-use mugs, Repairs furnishings where possible or donate it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and drink cans, throws caps and covers in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
