Employee health and safety is among the top priorites of our company and it is a CSI objective to provide a clean, safe and healthy work setting for all of its staff. We have created, and will continually refine, policies, rules, and procedures, which will contribute to the safety of everyone around. Establishment and preservation of a safe environment is a joint function of management and staff at all levels of the organization. To this end, every reasonable effort should be taken to reach the objective of improved safety and protecting employee health. Our thinking is to control and minimize, to the maximum amount, any risk associated in the undertaking of our Facility Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Wholly and entirely sustain the Safety Program, Maintain a working environment that is safe and healthful for the staff, Follow occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain an effective accident avoidance plan. We expect all employees to work according to good safety procedures as posted, educated on, and discussed. Management stress that staff observe and obey every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe performance of labor, and shall take such appropriate steps necessary to obtain compliance. Employees will subscribe to the company safety protocol by following all safety rules, bringing unsafe conditions to the attention of management and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so pertinent—nor any service so critical—that staff should avoid working safely. Green Cleaning is described as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI International, Inc. is devoted to delivering a clean and healthy working environment for all our employees and yours. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton issued this presidential Executive Order 13101 which lead the use of green cleaning products by facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings globally. The Order also defined green cleaning for the first time, saying that green cleaning is the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning is now the best use of goods that minimize indoor pollution simultaneously reducing environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Maintaining of a healthy environment is the shared responsibility of supervisors and staff at all levels of the CSI organization. All staff is trained and held responsible to reach the goal of eliminating the exterior’s role on the local territory and to stress and execute environmentally safe, minimal impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI comprehends that the concept of stewardship-- "the obligation for managing, performing or supervising the quality, state or condition of an institutional or industrial structure"- is important to the green cleansing viewpoint and essential to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is dedicated to follow a set of stewardship principles that have actually been developed by pioneers of the green cleaning movement.
