The main reason for our Quality Program is the establishment of a quality culture that focuses on customer’s expectations, includes employees at all levels, continuously measures performance, and thrives on continuous improvement. Inorder to achieve this our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management plan, and a set of rules that are relayed to all departments and levels of the company to insure that all employees consistently meet or surpass our customer’s needs. CSI’s senior management team has dedicated themselves to organize its Facility Services strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s needs, and to develop and sustain a culture with full employee participation. Quality for CSI is a task of continuous enhancement, not just an inspection program. It means supervision and management must enforce a set directive of Facility Services everyone follows and trusts. To meet this challenge CSI has established the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage our QA Program and to directly oversee the quality procedures throughout all segments of our business. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the implementation and adherence to our top levels for assessing job performance, implementing training programs and identifying and exceeding our client’s expectations. Thinking of these CSI has deployed the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our clients. Our clients will get periodic quality reports by email or hard copy. These analysis reports are capable of providing a complete job site review while including graphs for visual reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Facility Services. Every facility has different requirements that demand we customize a program that supports its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision accountable, and employees up to date. The result is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI utilizes multiple standard validation tools to ensure that we are continually delivering the Facility Services promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will abide by its customers recycling treatments. We are responsible to develop, manage, and totally support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers as well as our employees. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and cultivate a positive attitude to recycling, Act as an intermediary between CSI and our clients, Help our customers with the application of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental guidelines worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling treatments, Have a positive mindset to waste reduction and recycling within your working area, Advise or suggest ways of reducing waste. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI workers should follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Usage separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not get rid of non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleaning items, Talk to your Manager or the Recycling Organizer of the center for any extra information concerning the facility's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Use different containers for trash and recyclable products at your desk and central areas, Print double sided (saves approximately 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to alleviate paper checks to assist minimize the total environmental footprint of our company, Print only when required, Proof reads files for errors before printing to avoid waste, Sends out e-mail memos to conserve paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Examines any paper copy storage, change with a back- up disk drive for central storage, Utilizes email rather of corresponding by post, Switches devices off completely in the evening and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases durable equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to photocopiers and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (On average they take in 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, throws caps and lids in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
