The main reason for our Quality Program is the establishment of a quality culture that pays particular attention to customer’s needs, includes every employee, constantly measures performance, and strives to continually improve. Inorder to create this culture our Quality Plan has as a base, a management plan, and a set of disciplines that are coordinated to all facets of the company to insure that all employees consistently reach or exceed our client’s expectations. CSI’s senior management team has committed to organize its Facility Services strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s needs, and to develop and sustain a culture with high employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a task of continuous improvement, not just an examination protocol. It means supervisors and management must enforce a set directive of Facility Services the line worker comprehends and has faith in. To reach this high mark CSI has developed the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality process throughout all aspects of our company. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and maintains constant vigilance on the implementation and adherence to our top levels for evaluating job performance, executing training programs and recognizing and exceeding our customer’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has developed the Eye on Quality program. This program’s objective is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our customers. Our clients receive regular quality reports via email or print copy. These inspection reports are capable of providing a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Facility Services. Every company has unique challenges that demand we individualize a program that supports its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision accountable, and employees informed. The end result is the achieving of service excellence for the client. CSI uses many traditional validation tools to ensure that we are consistently providing the Facility Services promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its customers recycling procedures. We are responsible to establish, handle, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients as well as our workers. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our staff members in the importance of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and promote a favorable attitude towards recycling, Function as an intermediary in between CSI and our clients, Help our customers with the implementation of their recycling treatments, Comply with governmental guidelines worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive attitude towards waste reduction and recycling within your workspace, Suggest or recommend ways of minimizing waste. At our Consumers' center-- All CSI workers need to follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to gather recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleansing items, Consult with your Manager or the Recycling Coordinator of the facility for any additional info regarding the center's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for garbage and recyclable products at your desk and main places, Print double sided (saves as much as 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to relieve paper checks to help lessen the overall environmental footprint of our organization, Print just when necessary, Proof reads files for errors before printing to avoid waste, Sends e-mail memos to save paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Evaluates any hard copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk drive for central storage, Uses email instead of sending letters by post, Changes devices off entirely in the evening and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases resilient devices, Has paper recycling stations next to photocopiers and printers, Utilizes energy effective light bulbs (Usually they take in 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal circulation, Recycles clean side of used paper for internal printing, Transforms scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Attempts to use paper for more than one purpose, Recycles incoming product packaging and boxes for outbound shipments, Eliminates plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and use reusable mugs, Fixes furniture where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and drink cans, throws caps and covers in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
