To reach this high mark CSI has created the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality procedures throughout all departments of our company. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the execution and devotion to our high standards for evaluating job performance, executing training programs and recognizing and exceeding our customer’s expectations. The outcome is the attainment of service excellence for the customer. CSI utilizes multiple standard validation tools to ensure that we are continually providing the Facility Services promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste decrease and will comply with its clients recycling treatments. We are accountable to develop, manage, and completely support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients along with our staff members. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our staff members in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and promote a positive mindset to recycling, Serve as a liaison between CSI and our clients, Assist our clients with the implementation of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental guidelines worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste items. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI employees should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to gather recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Usage separate containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for exclusive details, Do not throw away non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleaning products, Consult with your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional information concerning the center's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and central places, Print double sided (saves approximately 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to ease paper checks to help minimize the overall ecological footprint of our company, Print only when essential, Proof checks out files for mistakes prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends e-mail memos to save paper, Prevents printing emails, Evaluates any paper copy storage, change with a back- up disk drive for centralized storage, Uses email rather of corresponding by post, Switches equipment off totally at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases resilient equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to copy machines and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (On average they consume 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes.
