CSI will provide safety procedures, managerial controls, personal safety gear and instruction to abate and reduce exposure to hazards and stop injury and illness. CSI has developed, and will continually refine, policies, rules, and techniques, which will improve upon the safety of everyone involved. Establishment and preservation of a safe setting is a shared responsibility of management and employees at all levels of the organization. For this purpose, every reasonable effort should be made to achieve the intention of improved safety and health preservation. Our philosophy is to control and minimize, to the greatest extent possible, any risk involved in the performance of our Operations Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Fully and completely reinforce the Safety Program, Perpetuate a place of employment that is safe and healthy for the staff, Obey occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain an effective accident prevention plan. We expect all staff members to work according to solid safety procedures as posted, trained, and discussed. Supervisors stress that employees witness and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe conduct of work, and shall take such appropriate steps necessary to obtain compliance. Employees will submit to the company safety protocol by obeying all safety rules, letting management know of safety concerns and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so pertinent—nor any service so urgent—that staff should avoid working safely. Green Cleaning is described as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is committed to providing a clean and healthy working environment for all our staff and yours. Presidential Executive Order 13101, issued in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton required the facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities worldwide to start using green cleaning products. The Order also clarified what green cleaning is for the first time, saying that green cleaning is the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the best use of products that minimize indoor pollution as well as reduce environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Maintaining of a healthy environment is the joint responsibility of management and employees at all stages of the CSI company. Every employee is trained and held responsible to reach the goal of reducing the exterior’s role on the local territory and to highlight and exercise environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI comprehends that the principle of stewardship-- "the responsibility for handling, monitoring the quality or carrying out, state or condition of an institutional or industrial structure"- is important to the green cleansing point of view and essential to the success of our green cleansing program. CSI is devoted to follow a set of stewardship principles that have actually been established by leaders of the green cleaning movement. These concepts will assist in our efforts to be good stewards of the buildings we service, their occupants, our workers, and the general environment.
