To meet this challenge CSI has developed the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality procedures throughout all departments of our business. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the implementation and adherence to our high standards for evaluating job performance, implementing training programs and identifying and exceeding our client’s expectations. The end result is the achieving of service excellence for the client. CSI deploys many traditional validation tools to ensure that we are continually delivering the Quality Building Management promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will comply with its customers recycling treatments. We are accountable to develop, handle, and fully support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers as well as our staff members. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the importance of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate participation and cultivate a favorable mindset towards recycling, Serve as a liaison between CSI and our clients, Assist our clients with the implementation of their recycling procedures, Adhere to governmental policies concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling procedures, Have a favorable mindset towards waste reduction and recycling within your working area, Recommend or suggest methods of lowering waste. At our Consumers' center-- All CSI staff members need to follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not discard disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleansing items, Speak with your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the center for any additional information concerning the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and main areas, Print double sided (conserves as much as 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to relieve paper checks to assist reduce the overall environmental footprint of our company, Print just when needed, Evidence checks out documents for errors prior to printing to prevent waste, Sends email memos to conserve paper, Avoids printing emails, Reviews any hard copy storage, change with a back- up hard drive for centralized storage, Uses e-mail instead of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off totally at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases durable devices, Has paper recycling stations next to copy machines and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (Usually they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (most likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, tosses caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
