CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its clients recycling treatments. We are responsible to establish, handle, and completely support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our employees. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and cultivate a favorable attitude towards recycling, Function as an intermediary between CSI and our clients, Help our customers with the execution of their recycling procedures, Adhere to governmental policies concerning the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a positive attitude towards waste reduction and recycling within your workspace, Recommend or recommend methods of reducing waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI employees must follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use separate containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary info, Do not get rid of non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleansing items, Consult with your Supervisor or the Recycling Organizer of the center for any additional details regarding the center's recycling procedures.
CSI REDUCES, REUSES, RECYCLES. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for trash and recyclable products at your desk and central areas, Print double sided (saves approximately 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to relieve paper checks to assist decrease the overall ecological footprint of our company, Print just when needed, Evidence checks out files for mistakes before printing to prevent waste, Sends out email memos to save paper, Prevents printing emails, Reviews any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard drive for central storage, Uses e-mail rather of corresponding by post, Switches devices off completely at night and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases durable equipment, Has paper recycling stations beside photocopiers and printers, Utilizes energy efficient light bulbs (On average they consume 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes.
