CSI has created, and will constantly redo, policies, rules, and procedures, which will add to the safety of everyone around. Establishment and conservation of a safe setting is a joint function of management and staff at all levels of the organization. To this end, all practical efforts needs to be made to achieve the goal of accident prevention and protecting employee health. Our philosophy is to command and reduce, to the greatest amount possible, any risk involved in the undertaking of our Quality Building Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Fully and completely sustain the Safety Program, Perpetuate a working environment that is safe and healthy for the employees, Obey occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain an advantageous accident prevention program. CSI expects all staff members to work in a manner of good safety procedures as posted, educated on, and reviewed. Management shall insist that staff observe and execute every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe conduct of work, and require they take appropriate steps needed to secure compliance. Employees will subscribe to CSI’s safety program by following all safety rules, telling management about unsafe situations and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so important—nor any service so critical—that staff should avoid working safely. Green Cleaning is described as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is dedicated to providing a clean and healthy place of employment for all our employees and yours. Presidential Executive Order 13101, delivered in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton required the facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities globally to begin using green cleaning products. Executive Order 13101 also clarified what green cleaning is for the first time, saying that green cleaning is the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the best use of products that minimize indoor pollution simultaneously reducing environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Maintaining of a healthy workplace is the joint task of management and staff at every level of the CSI organization. Every staff member is trained and held accountable to achieve the goal of eliminating the exterior’s role on the local environment and to emphasize and execute environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI understands that the concept of stewardship-- "the obligation for handling, monitoring the quality or conducting, state or condition of an institutional or industrial structure"- is necessary to the green cleaning perspective and essential to the success of our green cleansing program. CSI is devoted to follow a set of stewardship concepts that have been established by pioneers of the green cleansing motion. These concepts will assist in our efforts to be excellent stewards of the buildings we service, their residents, our employees, and the total environment.
