To achieve this goal CSI has created the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage CSI’s QA Program and to focus on the quality procedures throughout all departments of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the implementation and adherence to our high standards for assessing job performance, implementing training programs and acknowledging and surpassing our client’s expectations. The outcome is the attainment of service excellence for the client. CSI deploys multiple standard validation tools to guarantee that we are consistently providing the Safe Facility Services promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will abide by its customers recycling procedures. We are responsible to establish, manage, and totally support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients as well as our staff members. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our staff members in the importance of environmental and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and promote a positive mindset to recycling, Serve as an intermediary in between CSI and our customers, Help our clients with the application of their recycling treatments, Adhere to governmental policies worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling procedures, Have a favorable attitude towards waste reduction and recycling within your workspace, Recommend or suggest methods of minimizing waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI staff members should follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Usage separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary info, Do not discard disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleansing products, Talk to your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional details concerning the facility's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Use different containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and central places, Print double sided (saves approximately 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to minimize paper checks to help decrease the overall ecological footprint of our company, Print just when needed, Proof checks out files for errors prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends out e-mail memos to save paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Evaluates any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk drive for centralized storage, Utilizes email instead of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off completely at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases durable equipment, Has paper recycling stations beside photocopiers and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (Typically they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes.
