To achieve this goal CSI has created the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality procedures throughout all segments of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and maintains constant vigilance on the implementation and adherence to our top levels for assessing job performance, implementing training programs and identifying and exceeding our client’s expectations. The end result is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI deploys several standard validation tools to ensure that we are continually delivering the Facilities Management promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste decrease and will abide by its customers recycling procedures. We are responsible to establish, manage, and fully support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our workers. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the significance of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage participation and promote a favorable mindset towards recycling, Serve as a liaison between CSI and our clients, Assist our customers with the implementation of their recycling treatments, Comply with governmental guidelines concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a favorable mindset towards waste reduction and recycling within your workspace, Suggest or recommend methods of lowering waste. At our Clients' facility-- All CSI workers should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage separate containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Usage different containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not throw away non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleansing products, Speak with your Supervisor or the Recycling Organizer of the center for any additional information concerning the facility's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Use different containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and main locations, Print double sided (saves up to 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to relieve paper checks to assist minimize the overall environmental footprint of our company, Print just when required, Evidence reads documents for errors prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends out e-mail memos to save paper, Avoids printing e-mails, Reviews any paper copy storage, change with a back- up disk drive for centralized storage, Utilizes e-mail instead of sending letters by post, Changes equipment off entirely at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases durable equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to copy machines and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (Typically they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes.
