From the beginning in 1989 CSI International, Inc. has always been a client focused and quality demanding organization. The main reason for our Quality Program is the instillment of quality that pays particular attention to customer’s expectations, includes every employee, constantly measures performance, and thrives on continuous improvement. To create this culture our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management process, and a set of guidelines that are relayed to all departments and levels of the company to make sure that all employees consistently meet or surpass our client’s requirements. CSI’s senior management team has committed to organize its Green Custodial Services strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s requirements, and to create and strengthen a way of life with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a challenge of continuous advancement, not just an inspection program. It means supervisors and management must relay a set directive of Green Custodial Services everyone understands and believes in. To reach this high mark CSI has established the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training inorder to manage CSI’s QA Program and to focus on the quality process throughout all aspects of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and maintains constant vigilance on the execution and devotion to our top levels for gauging job performance, implementing training programs and acknowledging and surpassing our client’s expectations. Thinking of these CSI has developed the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our clients. Our customers receive periodic quality reports via email or print copy. These analysis reports are able to provide a full work-site overview as well as visual and graphic-based reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program is supplemented by series of more conventional surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Green Custodial Services. Every company has unique situations that require us to customize a program that works best for its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision responsible, and employees informed. The result is the achieving of service excellence for the client. CSI utilizes several traditional validation tools to ensure that we are continually delivering the Green Custodial Services promised with the best quality. The Green Seal Requirement for Commercial and Institutional Cleansing Services GS-42, establishes environmental requirements for cleaning up company of business, public, and institutional buildings, consisting of in-house and external cleaning company, to create a green cleaning program that safeguards human health and the environment. The standard takes a systems approach with cleaning. Guidance is provided for tools and products used for cleansing (what is utilized for cleansing) and consists of personnel training and preparation (how cleansing is done). The standard also includes focus on environmental improvements that minimize toxicity, waste, and exposure to both building residents and custodial personnel. The standard can serve as a tool to help companies begin to act to improve their cleaning company and is available for Green Seal certification.
