CSI International, Inc., started in 1989 with its headquarters in south Florida providing exceptional service for over 23 years by exceeding our customers’ expectations offering Safe Facility Maintenance to customers in real estate, property management, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, higher education, manufacturing, and insurance. CSI’s owners, Jayne and Geoff Hammond, have over 30 years of experience in the Safe Facility Maintenance field. After 19 years of managing building operations for a Fortune 20 company, the Hammonds’ left the corporate world and started CSI. Their plan for success was short and sweet: "Say what we will do, do what we promise and have available for the customer objective evidence of what’s been done”. The success of their hard work is evident in the expansion of CSI from 12 to over 1700 employees currently managing buildings as small as 100,000 sq ft to as large as 3+ million sq ft in Baltimore. CSI’s expansion has been achieved through: Our impeccable reputation, Outstanding customer references, Responses to Quality Survey’s, and Glowing testimonials. Throughout CSI’s constant growth and evolution, our main purpose, exceeding our customers’ expectations has constantly remained the same. CSI prides ourselves in our unequaled reputation for economical solutions and responsive services with uncompromising quality. What started 20 years ago as a small, family-owned Janitorial Company is now a advanced family-owned facility services provider offering a full range of Safe Facility Maintenance to owners and operators of commercial facilities. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is committed to providing a clean and healthy working environment for every one of our employees and yours. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton delivered this presidential Executive Order 13101 which directed the use of green cleaning products by facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities globally. The Order also clarified what green cleaning is for the first time, stating that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning is now the most favorable use of goods that reduce indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Preservation of a healthy environment is the joint job of management and employees at all levels of the CSI organization. Every employee is trained and held accountable to achieve the goal of reducing the exterior’s impact on the local environment and to emphasize and execute environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI understands that the principle of stewardship-- "the duty for managing, carrying out or monitoring the quality, state or condition of an institutional or commercial building"- is necessary to the green cleansing point of view and important to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is committed to follow a set of stewardship principles that have actually been developed by pioneers of the green cleaning motion. These principles will help in our efforts to be good stewards of the structures we service, their occupants, our workers, and the general environment. Tidy for health first and appearance 2nd, Lessen human direct exposure to pollutants and cleansing items, Recognize cleansing as an ecological health advantage, Dedicate to occupational advancement of cleaning workers, Interact the worth of healthy buildings, Minimize chemical, wetness and particle residue when cleansing, Ensure employee and resident safety, Contain and reduce all toxins entering the structure, Dispose of cleansing items in environmentally safe methods, Establish and record routine maintenance schedules.
