The outcome is the achievement of service excellence for the client. CSI deploys several traditional validation tools to ensure that we are continually providing the Cleaning Services promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its clients recycling treatments. We are accountable to develop, handle, and completely support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our employees. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our employees in the importance of environmental and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and cultivate a favorable attitude towards recycling, Act as an intermediary between CSI and our clients, Assist our clients with the execution of their recycling procedures, Abide by governmental guidelines concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI employees should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to gather recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Usage different containers to gather recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleaning items, Talk to your Supervisor or the Recycling Planner of the center for any extra details concerning the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Usage different containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and central locations, Print double sided (saves approximately 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to ease paper checks to help reduce the general environmental footprint of our organization, Print just when required, Evidence reads documents for mistakes before printing to avoid waste, Sends out email memos to conserve paper, Prevents printing emails, Reviews any hard copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk drive for central storage, Uses email rather of corresponding by post, Switches devices off entirely in the evening and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting equipment, Has paper recycling stations beside copy machines and printers, Utilizes energy effective light bulbs (On average they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes.
