CSI provides safety procedures, administrative commands, personal protective equipment and training to reduce and eliminate exposure to hazards and stop injury and illness. We have developed, and will continually refine, policies, rules, and procedures, which will add to the safety of all employee. Establishment and preservation of a safe setting is a joint function of management and staff at all levels of the company. For this purpose, every sensible effort should be made to reach the intention of accident prevention and health preservation. Our ideology is to control and minimize, to the greatest amount possible, any risk associated in the performance of our Facilities Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Perfectly and thoroughly support the Safety Program, Maintain a workplace that is safe and healthful for the staff, Adhere to occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain a successful accident prevention program. We expect all employees to work in a manner of good safety procedures as displayed, trained, and talked about. Supervisors stress that employees witness and execute every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe performance of labor, and require they take appropriate steps necessary to obtain compliance. Employees will subscribe to the company safety program by obeying all safety rules, letting management know of safety concerns and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so crucial—nor any service so critical—that employees should avoid working safely. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is dedicated to providing a clean and healthy place of employment for every one of our employees and yours. Presidential Executive Order 13101, delivered in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton required the building managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings globally to start the use of green cleaning products. The Order also established what green cleaning was for the first time, saying that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning is now the most favorable use of products that minimize indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Maintaining of a healthy environment is the shared job of management and staff at all stages of the CSI organization. Every employee is trained and held responsible to achieve the goal of minimizing the exterior’s role on the local territory and to emphasize and execute environmentally safe, minimal impact cleaning chemicals and procedures. CSI understands that the principle of stewardship-- "the duty for handling, monitoring the quality or performing, state or condition of a industrial or institutional building"- is vital to the green cleaning viewpoint and essential to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is devoted to follow a set of stewardship principles that have been established by leaders of the green cleaning movement.
