Inorder to achieve this our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management plan, and a set of guidelines that are coordinated to all facets of the organization to insure that all employees continuously reach or surpass our client’s expectations. CSI’s upper management team has worked to organize its Operations Maintenance strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s requirements, and to develop and sustain a way of life with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a task of continuous enhancement, not just an observation platform. What that means is supervisors and management must relay a standard of Operations Maintenance the line worker follows and trusts. To reach this high mark CSI has created the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing our QA Program and to focus on the quality procedures throughout all departments of our business. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the execution and devotion to our high standards for assessing job performance, implementing training programs and acknowledging and surpassing our client’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has developed the Eye on Quality program. The goal of this program is to achieve superior service quality levels for our customers. Our customers will get periodic quality reports via email or print copy. These inspection documents are capable of providing a complete job site review as well as visual and graphic-based reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Operations Maintenance. Every company has different requirements that demand we customize a program that supports its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision accountable, and employees informed. The result is the achievement of service excellence for the customer. CSI uses several standard validation tools to ensure that we are consistently delivering the Operations Maintenance promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will abide by its clients recycling treatments. We are accountable to establish, manage, and totally support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients as well as our workers. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our workers in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and cultivate a favorable attitude to recycling, Serve as an intermediary between CSI and our customers, Help our customers with the implementation of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental policies worrying the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a favorable attitude to waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Advise or recommend methods of decreasing waste. At our Consumers' center-- All CSI workers should follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to gather recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Use separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not throw away disposable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleansing items, Consult with your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any extra information relating to the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and central areas, Print double sided (saves as much as 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to minimize paper checks to assist minimize the general ecological footprint of our company, Print just when required, Proof reads documents for errors before printing to prevent waste, Sends out email memos to conserve paper, Avoids printing e-mails, Evaluates any paper copy storage, change with a back- up disk drive for central storage, Utilizes email instead of corresponding by post, Changes equipment off completely at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting devices, Has paper recycling stations beside photocopiers and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (Usually they take in 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal circulation, Recycles tidy side of used paper for internal printing, Transforms scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Tries to utilize paper for more than one function, Recycles incoming packaging and boxes for outbound shipments, Eliminates plastic drink cups from the water cooler and utilize recyclable mugs, Repairs furnishings where possible or donate it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (most likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and drink cans, tosses caps and covers in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
