CSI’s upper management team has committed to organize its Operations Maintenance strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s needs, and to create and sustain a culture with high employee participation. Quality for CSI is a process of continuous improvement, not just an examination protocol. What that means is supervisors and management must enforce a standard of Operations Maintenance every employee understands and believes in. To meet this challenge CSI has created the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing our QA Program and to focus on the quality process throughout all departments of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the execution and devotion to our high standards for gauging job performance, executing training programs and recognizing and exceeding our customer’s expectations. Thinking of these CSI has developed the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to achieve superior service quality levels for our customers. Our clients receive periodic quality reports via email or print copy. These inspection reports will provide a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program is supplemented by series of more conventional surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Operations Maintenance. Every facility has unique situations that require us to customize a program that works best for its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision accountable, and employees up to date. The result is the attainment of service excellence for the client. CSI utilizes several traditional validation tools to guarantee that we are continually delivering the Operations Maintenance promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will comply with its customers recycling treatments. We are responsible to develop, handle, and totally support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients as well as our workers. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our workers in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage participation and foster a favorable attitude to recycling, Act as a liaison in between CSI and our clients, Assist our customers with the execution of their recycling procedures, Comply with governmental regulations worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling treatments, Have a positive attitude towards waste decrease and recycling within your workspace, Recommend or suggest ways of reducing waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI employees must follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Usage separate containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not get rid of disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleaning products, Talk to your Manager or the Recycling Coordinator of the center for any extra information concerning the facility's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Usage different containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and main areas, Print double sided (saves as much as 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to ease paper checks to help reduce the general ecological footprint of our company, Print only when required, Evidence checks out files for errors prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends out email memos to conserve paper, Avoids printing e-mails, Evaluates any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk drive for centralized storage, Uses e-mail instead of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off entirely at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting devices, Has paper recycling stations beside copy machines and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (Typically they consume 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, throws caps and covers in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
