From our inception in 1989 CSI International, Inc. has been a customer focused and results demanding company. The motivator behind our Quality Program is the establishment of a quality culture that focuses on customer’s expectations, includes every employee, maintains continuous performance levels, and strives to continually improve. Inorder to create this culture our Quality Plan has as a base, a management plan, and a set of guidelines that are relayed to all departments and levels of the organization to make sure that we continuously reach or exceed our client’s requirements. CSI’s upper management team has committed to organize its Facilities Management strategy and operations around our customer’s needs, and to create and strengthen a culture with high employee participation. Quality for CSI is a task of continued enhancement, not just an inspection program. What that means is supervisors and management must enforce a set directive of Facilities Management every employee understands and believes in. To achieve this goal CSI has developed the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing our QA Program and to focus on the quality process throughout all segments of our business. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and maintains constant vigilance on the execution and devotion to our high standards for gauging job performance, executing training programs and acknowledging and exceeding our client’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has created the Eye on Quality program. This program’s objective is to achieve superior service quality levels for our customers. Our clients receive regular quality reports via email or print copy. These analysis documents will provide a complete job site review as well as visual and graphic-based reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Facilities Management. Every building has different requirements that demand we customize a program that works best for its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision accountable, and employees up to date. The result is the achievement of service excellence for the customer. CSI utilizes many standard validation tools to guarantee that we are consistently delivering the Facilities Management promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its customers recycling procedures. We are accountable to develop, handle, and fully support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients in addition to our workers. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our employees in the value of environmental and recycling practices, Encourage participation and promote a positive mindset to recycling, Serve as a liaison in between CSI and our clients, Assist our customers with the execution of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental regulations concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a favorable attitude to waste reduction and recycling within your workspace, Advise or suggest ways of minimizing waste. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI employees need to follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to gather recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary info, Do not throw away non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleaning products, Speak with your Supervisor or the Recycling Organizer of the facility for any extra info concerning the center's recycling procedures.
CSI DECREASES, REUSES, RECYCLES. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for trash and recyclable products at your desk and main locations, Print double sided (conserves up to 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to minimize paper checks to help reduce the total environmental footprint of our company, Print just when required, Proof reads documents for mistakes before printing to avoid waste, Sends out email memos to save paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Reviews any hard copy storage, replace with a back- up hard drive for centralized storage, Uses email instead of sending letters by post, Switches devices off entirely in the evening and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting devices, Has paper recycling stations beside copy machines and printers, Utilizes energy effective light bulbs (Typically they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Recycles envelopes for internal blood circulation, Recycles tidy side of used paper for internal printing, Transforms scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Aims to use paper for more than one purpose, Recycles incoming packaging and boxes for outbound deliveries, Removes plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and use reusable mugs, Fixes furniture where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (most likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, throws caps and covers in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and smart phones.
