To achieve this goal CSI has established the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing our QA Program and to directly oversee the quality process throughout all departments of our business. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the implementation and adherence to our high standards for evaluating job performance, executing training programs and recognizing and surpassing our customer’s expectations. The result is the achievement of service excellence for the customer. CSI utilizes several traditional validation tools to guarantee that we are continually delivering the Quality Building Maintenance promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste decrease and will abide by its customers recycling treatments. We are accountable to establish, handle, and completely support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers in addition to our staff members. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our workers in the value of environmental and recycling practices, Encourage participation and cultivate a favorable attitude to recycling, Function as an intermediary in between CSI and our clients, Assist our clients with the implementation of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental regulations concerning the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a favorable attitude towards waste decrease and recycling within your workspace, Suggest or suggest ways of lowering waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI employees should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to collect recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Usage different containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleansing items, Speak with your Supervisor or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional information relating to the facility's recycling treatments.
CSI LOWERS, RECYCLES, RECYCLES. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Use different containers for garbage and recyclable products at your desk and central places, Print double sided (saves approximately 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to ease paper checks to assist lessen the general ecological footprint of our organization, Print only when necessary, Evidence reads files for errors prior to printing to prevent waste, Sends out email memos to conserve paper, Prevents printing emails, Reviews any hard copy storage, replace with a back- up hard disk drive for centralized storage, Uses email rather of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off completely at night and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases durable equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to photocopiers and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (On average they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Recycles envelopes for internal blood circulation, Reuses tidy side of used paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Tries to utilize paper for more than one function, Recycles incoming product packaging and boxes for outbound shipments, Removes plastic drink cups from the water cooler and utilize recyclable mugs, Repairs furnishings where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and use as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (most likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and drink cans, tosses caps and lids in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
