Employee health and safety is one of our business priorities and it is a CSI objective to support a clean, safe and healthy working environment for all employees. CSI complies with all safety and health standards that are put forth by local, state and federal authorities. CSI will provide safety procedures, executive controls, personal protective equipment and instruction to dampen and diminish exposure to dangerous material and avert injury and illness. We have developed, and will constantly refine, policies, rules, and procedures, which will improve upon the safety of all employee. Creation and preservation of a safe setting is a shared responsibility of management and staff at all levels of the company. For this purpose, every sensible effort should be taken to accomplish the goal of improved safety and health preservation. Our philosophy is to command and reduce, to the greatest amount possible, any risk associated in the performance of our Business Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Perfectly and thoroughly support the Safety Program, Maintain a workplace that is safe and healthful for the staff, Comply with occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain a successful accident prevention program. We expect all employees to work in a manner of solid safe practices as displayed, instructed, and talked about. Management require that employees observe and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe performance of labor, and require they take appropriate steps necessary to obtain compliance. Employees will submit to CSI’s safety program by following all safety rules, advising management of unsafe conditions and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so crucial—nor any service so urgent—that employees cannot take the time to work safely. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI International, Inc. is dedicated to providing a clean and healthy place of employment for every one of our staff and your building’s occupants. Presidential Executive Order 13101, delivered in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton directed the building managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings worldwide to start using green cleaning products. The Order also clarified what green cleaning is for the first time, saying that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the most favorable use of goods that minimize indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Preservation of a healthy environment is the joint job of management and employees at all stages of the CSI organization. All staff is trained and held accountable to reach the goal of reducing the exterior’s role on the local territory and to stress and execute environmentally safe, minimal impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI understands that the concept of stewardship-- "the responsibility for handling, carrying out or monitoring the quality, state or condition of a commercial or institutional building"- is vital to the green cleansing perspective and important to the success of our green cleansing program.
