CSI International, Inc., started in 1989 with its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has been providing excellence for over 23 years by exceeding our customers’ expectations offering Corporate Building Management to customers in Elizabeth office buildings. CSI International, Inc. owners, Jayne and Geoff Hammond, have over three decades of expertise in the Corporate Building Management field. After 19 years of managing building operations for a Fortune 20 corporation, the Hammonds’ left the corporate world and founded CSI. Their plan for success was clear and concise: "Say what we will do, do what we promise and have available for the customer objective evidence of what’s been done”. The success of their plans is evident in the growth of CSI from 12 to over 1700 employees currently managing buildings as small as 100,000 sq ft to as large as 3+ million sq ft in Elizabeth. CSI’s expansion has been attributed to: Our immaculate reputation, Outstanding customer references, Responses to Quality Survey’s, and Glowing testimonials. Throughout CSI’s consistent growth and advancement, our main goal, exceeding our customers’ expectations has continuously remained unchanged. CSI takes pride in our impeccable reputation for economical solutions and responsive services with relentless quality. What started two decades ago as a small, family-owned Janitorial Company is now a advanced family-owned building services provider offering a multitude of Corporate Building Management to owners and managers of corporate facilities. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is devoted to delivering a clean and healthy workplace for every one of our employees and your building’s occupants. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton issued this presidential Executive Order 13101 which lead the building managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities worldwide to start the use of green cleaning products. The Order also clarified what green cleaning is for the first time, stating that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now means the most favorable use of goods that minimize indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Preservation of a healthy workplace is the shared job of management and employees at every stage of the CSI organization. Every employee is trained and held accountable to reach the goal of minimizing the exterior’s impact on the local environment and to stress and execute environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI comprehends that the idea of stewardship-- "the responsibility for managing, monitoring the quality or carrying out, state or condition of a commercial or institutional structure"- is important to the green cleaning viewpoint and essential to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is dedicated to follow a set of stewardship principles that have actually been developed by leaders of the green cleaning movement. These principles will help in our efforts to be good stewards of the structures we service, their residents, our staff members, and the general environment. Clean for health first and appearance 2nd, Minimize human exposure to contaminants and cleaning products, Acknowledge cleansing as an ecological health advantage, Commit to occupational development of cleaning workers, Communicate the worth of healthy structures, Lessen chemical, moisture and particle residue when cleansing, Ensure employee and occupant security, Contain and lower all toxins getting in the structure, Dispose of cleaning products in ecologically safe methods, Establish and document routine maintenance schedules.
