CSI expects all staff members to work in a manner of solid safety procedures as displayed, educated on, and discussed. Management require that employees observe and obey every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe conduct of work, and shall take such appropriate steps needed to secure compliance. Employees will submit to CSI’s safety program by obeying all safety rules, advising management of unsafe conditions and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so crucial—nor any service so critical—that staff cannot take the time to work safely. Green Cleaning is described as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is devoted to providing a clean and healthy place of employment for every one of our employees and yours. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton delivered this presidential Executive Order 13101 which lead the building managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities worldwide to start the use of green cleaning products. The Order also defined green cleaning for the first time, stating that green cleaning is the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the most favorable use of goods that reduce indoor pollution simultaneously reducing environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Preservation of a healthy workplace is the shared responsibility of supervisors and employees at every level of the CSI organization. Every staff member is trained and held responsible to reach the goal of reducing the exterior’s role on the local territory and to emphasize and exercise environmentally safe, minimal impact cleaning chemicals and procedures.
