The primary purpose of our Quality Program is the creation of a quality craft that focuses on customer’s demands, includes every employee, constantly measures performance, and thrives on continuous improvement. To create this culture our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management process, and a set of guidelines that are coordinated to all departments and levels of the company to make sure that all employees consistently meet or surpass our customer’s expectations. CSI’s senior management team has worked to organize its Recycling Services strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s requirements, and to develop and sustain a way of life with high employee participation. Quality for CSI is a process of continued improvement, not just an inspection program. It means supervisors and management must relay a set directive of Recycling Services every employee follows and trusts. To reach this high mark CSI has developed the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing CSI’s QA Program and to focus on the quality procedures throughout all aspects of our business. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the implementation and adherence to our high standards for evaluating job performance, implementing training programs and identifying and exceeding our client’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has developed the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our customers. Our customers receive periodic quality reports by email or hard copy. These analysis documents are capable of providing a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes a series of more typical surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Recycling Services. Every facility has unique situations that demand we customize a program that supports its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision responsible, and employees up to date. The end result is the achievement of service excellence for the client. CSI uses several standard validation tools to guarantee that we are continually delivering the Recycling Services promised with the best quality. The Green Seal Requirement for Commercial and Institutional Cleaning Solutions GS-42, establishes environmental requirements for cleaning provider of industrial, public, and institutional structures, including in-house and external cleaning services, to create a green cleansing program that secures human health and the environment. The basic takes a systems approach with cleansing. Assistance is offered tools and items used for cleaning (what is used for cleaning) and includes staff training and preparation (how cleaning is done). The standard also includes emphasis on environmental enhancements that lower toxicity, waste, and direct exposure to both structure residents and custodial personnel. The standard can function as a tool to help companies start to do something about it to improve their cleaning company and is offered for Green Seal accreditation.
