From the day our doors opened in 1989 CSI International, Inc. has been a customer focused and results guided company. The motivator behind our Quality Program is the creation of a quality craft that pays particular attention to customer’s demands, includes every employee, continuously measures performance, and strives to continually improve. Inorder to achieve this our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management plan, and a set of rules that are coordinated to all facets of the company to make sure that we consistently meet or surpass our customer’s expectations. CSI’s senior management team has worked to organize its Recycling Services strategy and operations around our customer’s needs, and to develop and sustain a way of life with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a task of continuous improvement, not just an inspection program. It means supervisors and management must enforce a set directive of Recycling Services everyone understands and believes in. To reach this high mark CSI has created the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training inorder to manage our QA Program and to directly oversee the quality process throughout all segments of our company. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and maintains constant vigilance on the execution and devotion to our top levels for gauging job performance, implementing training programs and recognizing and surpassing our customer’s expectations. With these things in mind CSI has created the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to achieve superior service quality levels for our clients. Our clients receive regular quality reports via email or print copy. These inspection documents will provide a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program is supplemented by series of more conventional surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Recycling Services. Every company has unique situations that require us to customize a program that supports its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision accountable, and employees informed. The outcome is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI utilizes several traditional validation tools to ensure that we are consistently delivering the Recycling Services promised with the best quality. The Green Seal Standard for Commercial and Institutional Cleaning Solutions GS-42, develops environmental requirements for cleaning up provider of commercial, public, and institutional structures, consisting of in-house and external cleaning services, to produce a green cleaning program that secures human health and the environment. The basic takes a systems approach with cleansing. Guidance is provided for tools and products used for cleaning (exactly what is utilized for cleaning) and consists of personnel training and preparation (how cleansing is done). The requirement also includes emphasis on environmental improvements that decrease toxicity, waste, and exposure to both building occupants and custodial personnel. The requirement can act as a tool to assist companies begin to act to enhance their cleaning company and is offered for Green Seal accreditation.
