CSI uses many traditional validation tools to ensure that we are continually delivering the Environmental Protection promised with the best quality. Our employees are our most valuable resource and everyone in the CSI family is entitled to a safe and healthful environment. Employee health and safety is one of our business priorities and it is a CSI intention to maintain a clean, safe and healthy working conditions for all employees. CSI complies with all safety and health laws that are enacted by local, state and federal agencies. CSI will provide safety procedures, administrative commands, personal protective equipment and instruction to dampen and diminish exposure to dangerous material and avert injury and illness. CSI has developed, and will continually redo, policies, rules, and techniques, which will add to the safety of everyone involved. Creation and maintenance of a safe environment is a joint function of management and staff at all levels of the company. For this reason, all practical efforts needs to be made to achieve the objective of accident prevention and health preservation. Our thinking is to control and minimize, to the maximum amount, any risk associated in the performance of our Environmental Protection. CSI has the accountability to: Wholly and entirely reinforce the Safety Program, Perpetuate a working environment that is safe and healthful for the staff, Obey occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate a successful accident avoidance program. We expect all staff members to work in a manner of good safety procedures as posted, trained, and talked about. Supervisors require that employees observe and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe performance of their job, and shall take such action necessary to secure compliance. Employees will subscribe to CSI’s safety protocol by following all safety rules, letting management know of safety concerns and recommending actions to improve the effectiveness of the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so pertinent—nor any service so urgent—that employees cannot take the time to work safely. The Green Seal Requirement for Commercial and Institutional Cleaning Solutions GS-42, develops ecological requirements for cleaning service providers of commercial, public, and institutional buildings, consisting of in-house and external cleaning company, to produce a green cleaning program that secures human health and the environment. The basic takes a systems approach with cleansing. Assistance is offered tools and items used for cleansing (what is used for cleansing) and includes personnel training and planning (how cleaning is done). The requirement also consists of emphasis on ecological improvements that decrease toxicity, waste, and exposure to both building occupants and custodial staff. The requirement can serve as a tool to assist business start to act to enhance their cleaning service and is readily available for Green Seal accreditation.
