CSI has the accountability to: Perfectly and thoroughly sustain the Safety Program, Maintain a working environment that is safe and healthful for the employees, Adhere to occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain a successful accident prevention program. We expect all employees to work according to solid safe practices as posted, trained, and discussed. Management require that employees observe and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe conduct of work, and require they take action necessary to secure compliance. Staff will submit to the company safety program by obeying all safety rules, letting management know of safety concerns and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so important—nor any service so urgent—that staff should avoid working safely. The Green Seal Requirement for Commercial and Institutional Cleansing Providers GS-42, establishes ecological requirements for cleaning service providers of industrial, public, and institutional buildings, consisting of in-house and external cleaning company, to create a green cleansing program that secures human health and the environment. The basic takes a systems approach with cleaning. Assistance is provided for tools and products utilized for cleansing (what is used for cleansing) and includes personnel training and planning (how cleansing is done). The standard also consists of emphasis on environmental improvements that minimize toxicity, waste, and direct exposure to both structure residents and custodial personnel. The standard can function as a tool to help business begin to act to enhance their cleaning company and is offered for Green Seal certification.
