Inorder to create this culture our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management process, and a set of rules that are relayed to all departments and levels of the company to insure that we continuously reach or exceed our customer’s needs. CSI’s senior management team has dedicated themselves to organize its Safe Building Maintenance strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s needs, and to develop and sustain a culture with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a process of continued advancement, not just an examination protocol. What that means is supervision and management must enforce a standard of Safe Building Maintenance the line worker understands and believes in. To achieve this goal CSI has created the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training inorder to manage our QA Program and to directly oversee the quality procedures throughout all departments of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the execution and devotion to our high standards for gauging job performance, executing training programs and identifying and surpassing our customer’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has deployed the Eye on Quality program. This program’s objective is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our clients. Our clients receive periodic quality reports by email or hard copy. These update overview documents are able to provide a full work-site overview as well as visual and graphic-based reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes a series of more typical surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Safe Building Maintenance. Every company has unique situations that require us to individualize a program that fits well with its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision accountable, and employees up to date. The outcome is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI uses multiple standard validation tools to ensure that we are consistently providing the Safe Building Maintenance promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste decrease and will comply with its clients recycling procedures. We are responsible to develop, handle, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers in addition to our workers. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the importance of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage participation and foster a favorable attitude towards recycling, Serve as a liaison between CSI and our customers, Assist our clients with the execution of their recycling treatments, Adhere to governmental regulations worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive mindset towards waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Recommend or suggest methods of minimizing waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI staff members need to follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary details, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleansing items, Seek advice from your Manager or the Recycling Coordinator of the facility for any extra information concerning the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and central locations, Print double sided (saves up to 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to reduce paper checks to assist reduce the general environmental footprint of our organization, Print just when essential, Proof reads files for errors prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends out email memos to conserve paper, Prevents printing emails, Examines any hard copy storage, replace with a back- up hard disk drive for centralized storage, Uses e-mail rather of sending letters by post, Changes devices off totally in the evening and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases resilient equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to photocopiers and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (On average they consume 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Recycles envelopes for internal blood circulation, Recycles clean side of used paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Attempts to utilize paper for more than one function, Reuses inbound packaging and boxes for outgoing deliveries, Removes plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and utilize recyclable mugs, Repairs furnishings where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and drink cans, tosses caps and covers in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and smart phones.
