To achieve this goal CSI has established the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing our QA Program and to focus on the quality process throughout all aspects of our business. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the execution and devotion to our top levels for assessing job performance, implementing training programs and acknowledging and surpassing our client’s expectations. The outcome is the attainment of service excellence for the customer. CSI uses several standard validation tools to guarantee that we are consistently providing the Safe Building Maintenance promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will abide by its customers recycling treatments. We are accountable to establish, manage, and completely support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients along with our staff members. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the importance of environmental and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and foster a positive attitude to recycling, Act as a liaison in between CSI and our customers, Help our customers with the execution of their recycling procedures, Comply with governmental policies worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste items. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive mindset towards waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Suggest or recommend ways of minimizing waste. At our Clients' facility-- All CSI employees must follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to gather recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Usage separate containers to gather recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary info, Do not throw away disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleaning products, Speak with your Supervisor or the Recycling Planner of the center for any additional info relating to the facility's recycling procedures.
CSI LOWERS, REUSES, RECYCLES. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and main areas, Print double sided (saves up to 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to minimize paper checks to help lessen the total ecological footprint of our organization, Print just when required, Proof checks out documents for errors before printing to avoid waste, Sends email memos to save paper, Avoids printing emails, Examines any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard drive for central storage, Utilizes email rather of sending letters by post, Changes equipment off completely at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases durable devices, Has paper recycling stations beside copy machines and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (On average they consume 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal flow, Reuses clean side of utilized paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Attempts to utilize paper for more than one purpose, Recycles inbound packaging and boxes for outbound deliveries, Removes plastic drink cups from the water cooler and use multiple-use mugs, Repair works furnishings where possible or donate it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and drink cans, throws caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
