For this reason, all reasonable efforts should be made to accomplish the intention of improved safety and protecting employee health. Our thinking is to control and minimize, to the maximum amount, any risk associated in the performance of our Safe Custodial Services. CSI has the accountability to: Wholly and entirely support the Safety Program, Maintain a workplace that is safe and healthy for the staff, Follow occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate a successful accident prevention program. CSI expects all staff members to work in a manner of good safety procedures as displayed, instructed, and reviewed. Management stress that staff observe and obey every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe conduct of work, and require they take appropriate steps needed to obtain compliance. Employees will subscribe to the company safety protocol by obeying all safety rules, telling management about unsafe situations and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so crucial—nor any service so urgent—that employees cannot take the time to work safely. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI International, Inc. is committed to providing a clean and healthy place of employment for every one of our staff and yours. Presidential Executive Order 13101, delivered in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton required the use of green cleaning products by facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings globally. The Order also established what green cleaning was for the first time, communicating that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the best use of products that reduce indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Preservation of a healthy environment is the shared task of supervisors and staff at all levels of the CSI organization. All employees are trained and held accountable to achieve the goal of eliminating the exterior’s impact on the local environment and to stress and exercise environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and procedures. CSI understands that the concept of stewardship-- "the responsibility for handling, performing or monitoring the quality, state or condition of a commercial or institutional structure"- is important to the green cleansing viewpoint and important to the success of our green cleansing program. CSI is committed to follow a set of stewardship concepts that have been established by pioneers of the green cleansing motion. These concepts will help in our efforts to be good stewards of the structures we service, their occupants, our staff members, and the overall environment.
