To reach this high mark CSI has established the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality procedures throughout all departments of our business. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and maintains constant vigilance on the execution and devotion to our top levels for evaluating job performance, implementing training programs and acknowledging and surpassing our client’s expectations. The end result is the attainment of service excellence for the client. CSI utilizes several standard validation tools to ensure that we are consistently providing the Safe Facility Management promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its clients recycling treatments. We are responsible to develop, handle, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our staff members. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our employees in the value of environmental and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and foster a positive attitude to recycling, Function as a liaison in between CSI and our customers, Assist our customers with the implementation of their recycling procedures, Adhere to governmental regulations worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. At our Customers' center-- All CSI staff members should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use separate containers to gather recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for exclusive information, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleaning items, Consult with your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional details regarding the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and main areas, Print double sided (conserves up to 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to ease paper checks to assist minimize the total environmental footprint of our organization, Print only when essential, Evidence checks out documents for errors before printing to avoid waste, Sends e-mail memos to save paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Examines any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk for centralized storage, Uses email instead of corresponding by post, Switches equipment off completely in the evening and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases durable devices, Has paper recycling stations next to photocopiers and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (On average they consume 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal blood circulation, Reuses tidy side of utilized paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Tries to use paper for more than one purpose, Reuses incoming packaging and boxes for outbound shipments, Gets rid of plastic drink cups from the water cooler and use multiple-use mugs, Repair works furnishings where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and use as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, tosses caps and lids in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and cellphones.
