CSI INTERNATIONAL, INC. Custodial Services CSI utilizes many traditional validation tools to guarantee that we are continually providing the Custodial Services promised with the best quality. Our staff is our most valuable asset and all members of the CSI family is entitled to a safe and healthful workplace. Employee safety is one of our business priorities and it is a CSI objective to maintain a clean, safe and healthy work setting for all employees. CSI complies with all safety and health laws that are put forth by local, state and federal agencies. CSI provides safety procedures, executive commands, personal protective equipment and instruction to dampen and diminish exposure to dangerous material and avert injury and illness. We have developed, and will constantly refine, policies, rules, and procedures, which will improve upon the safety of everyone involved. Establishment and preservation of a safe setting is a shared responsibility of management and staff at all levels of the company. For this reason, every sensible effort needs to be made to accomplish the objective of improved safety and health preservation. Our ideology is to control and minimize, to the maximum amount, any risk associated in the performance of our Custodial Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Wholly and entirely reinforce the Safety Program, Maintain a working environment that is safe and healthful for the employees, Obey occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate an effective accident avoidance program. We expect all employees to work according to good safe practices as posted, educated on, and talked about. Supervisors stress that employees witness and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe conduct of work, and shall take such action necessary to obtain compliance. Staff will contribute to CSI’s safety protocol by obeying all safety rules, telling management about unsafe situations and recommending actions to improve the effectiveness of the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so crucial—nor any service so urgent—that staff cannot take the time to work safely. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its customers recycling procedures. We are responsible to develop, manage, and completely support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our workers. Our obligations include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the significance of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and foster a positive attitude to recycling, Serve as a liaison between CSI and our clients, Assist our customers with the execution of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental regulations concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. At our Customers' center-- All CSI employees must follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Usage different containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for exclusive information, Do not discard non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packing products for our cleaning products, Talk to your Supervisor or the Recycling Coordinator of the facility for any additional info regarding the facility's recycling treatments.
