CSI’s senior management team has dedicated themselves to organize its Building Services strategy and operations around our customer’s needs, and to create and strengthen a culture with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a task of continued improvement, not just an inspection program. What that means is supervisors and management must relay a set directive of Building Services everyone understands and believes in. To meet this challenge CSI has created the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality procedures throughout all aspects of our company. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the execution and devotion to our high standards for evaluating job performance, implementing training programs and recognizing and surpassing our customer’s expectations. Thinking of these CSI has created the Eye on Quality program. The goal of this program is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our clients. Our customers receive regular quality reports via email or print copy. These inspection reports are able to provide a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program includes a series of more typical surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Building Services. Every building has unique situations that demand we customize a program that fits well with its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision responsible, and employees informed. The outcome is the achieving of service excellence for the client. CSI deploys multiple standard validation tools to ensure that we are consistently delivering the Building Services promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its customers recycling procedures. We are responsible to develop, handle, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients in addition to our workers. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our workers in the significance of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and foster a favorable mindset towards recycling, Serve as a liaison in between CSI and our customers, Assist our clients with the application of their recycling procedures, Abide by governmental regulations worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Company Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling procedures, Have a positive mindset towards waste decrease and recycling within your workspace, Recommend or suggest methods of minimizing waste. At our Consumers' facility-- All CSI workers should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for exclusive details, Do not discard disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleansing products, Talk to your Supervisor or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional info relating to the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for trash and recyclable products at your desk and main places, Print double sided (conserves approximately 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to alleviate paper checks to help minimize the general ecological footprint of our organization, Print only when necessary, Proof checks out files for mistakes prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends email memos to save paper, Avoids printing emails, Examines any hard copy storage, change with a back- up hard drive for central storage, Uses e-mail instead of sending letters by post, Changes devices off totally at night and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to copy machines and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (Typically they consume 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Recycles envelopes for internal blood circulation, Recycles clean side of used paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Attempts to use paper for more than one function, Recycles inbound product packaging and boxes for outbound shipments, Eliminates plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and utilize reusable mugs, Repairs furniture where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (most likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and drink cans, throws caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
