Quality for CSI is a process of continuous advancement, not just an observation platform. It means supervision and management must enforce a set directive of Corporate Services every employee follows and trusts. To meet this challenge CSI has developed the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage our QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality procedures throughout all departments of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the execution and devotion to our high standards for evaluating job performance, executing training programs and acknowledging and exceeding our client’s expectations. With these things in mind CSI has created the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to achieve superior service quality levels for our clients. Our clients will get periodic quality reports by email or hard copy. These update overview documents are able to provide a complete job site review while including graphs for visual reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Corporate Services. Every building has unique situations that demand we individualize a program that fits well with its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision responsible, and employees informed. The outcome is the attainment of service excellence for the client. CSI uses multiple standard validation tools to guarantee that we are continually providing the Corporate Services promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its customers recycling procedures. We are responsible to establish, handle, and completely support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients along with our staff members. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our staff members in the significance of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage participation and promote a favorable attitude towards recycling, Function as a liaison in between CSI and our customers, Help our customers with the application of their recycling treatments, Adhere to governmental guidelines worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Company Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling treatments, Have a positive attitude towards waste reduction and recycling within your workspace, Advise or suggest methods of lowering waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI workers should follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Usage separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not get rid of non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleansing products, Consult with your Supervisor or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any extra info regarding the facility's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and central locations, Print double sided (saves as much as 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to minimize paper checks to help minimize the general environmental footprint of our company, Print only when required, Proof checks out documents for errors before printing to prevent waste, Sends out email memos to save paper, Avoids printing e-mails, Reviews any hard copy storage, replace with a back- up disk drive for central storage, Uses e-mail rather of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off completely at night and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases resilient devices, Has paper recycling stations next to copy machines and printers, Utilizes energy efficient light bulbs (Typically they consume 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, tosses caps and covers in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and smart phones.
