Our ideology is to control and eliminate, to the maximum amount, any risk involved in the performance of our Facility Operations. CSI has the responsibility to: Wholly and entirely reinforce the Safety Program, Maintain a place of employment that is safe and healthy for the staff, Follow occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain a successful accident avoidance program. We expect all staff members to work in a manner of good safety procedures as posted, instructed, and talked about. Management require that employees observe and obey every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe performance of their job, and require they take appropriate steps necessary to secure compliance. Staff will submit to CSI’s safety program by following all safety rules, advising management of unsafe conditions and recommending actions to improve the effectiveness of the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so crucial—nor any service so urgent—that employees should avoid working safely. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will comply with its customers recycling treatments. We are accountable to establish, manage, and fully support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our staff members. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our staff members in the value of environmental and recycling practices, Motivate participation and cultivate a favorable attitude towards recycling, Function as a liaison between CSI and our clients, Help our customers with the execution of their recycling procedures, Abide by governmental guidelines concerning the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a favorable mindset to waste decrease and recycling within your workspace, Recommend or suggest ways of decreasing waste. At our Consumers' center-- All CSI workers need to follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Use separate containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and position it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not throw away disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing materials for our cleansing items, Consult with your Supervisor or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any extra info relating to the facility's recycling procedures.
