CSI INTERNATIONAL, INC. Facility OperationsFrom the day our doors opened in 1989 CSI International, Inc. has always been a customer oriented and results guided organization. The main reason for our Quality Program is the instillment of quality that pays particular attention to customer’s expectations, involves every level of employee, constantly measures performance, and strives to continually improve. To create this culture our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management process, and a set of rules that are coordinated to all departments and levels of the organization to insure that all employees continuously meet or surpass our customer’s expectations. CSI’s senior management team has committed to organize its Facility Operations strategy and operations around our customer’s requirements, and to create and sustain a way of life with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a challenge of continued advancement, not just an examination protocol. It means supervision and management must relay a standard of Facility Operations the line worker understands and believes in. To reach this high mark CSI has developed the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing CSI’s QA Program and to focus on the quality process throughout all departments of our business. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the implementation and adherence to our high standards for gauging job performance, executing training programs and recognizing and surpassing our client’s expectations. With these things in mind CSI has deployed the Eye on Quality program. This program’s objective is to achieve superior service quality levels for our customers. Our clients receive periodic quality reports by email or hard copy. These update overview documents are capable of providing a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. As a bonus, our Eye on Quality program includes a series of more typical surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Facility Operations. Every facility has unique challenges that require us to customize a program that supports its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision responsible, and employees informed. The end result is the achieving of service excellence for the client. CSI utilizes several standard validation tools to ensure that we are consistently providing the Facility Operations promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste decrease and will adhere to its clients recycling procedures. We are responsible to establish, handle, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients along with our workers. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the significance of environmental and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and foster a positive attitude to recycling, Act as an intermediary between CSI and our clients, Assist our clients with the application of their recycling treatments, Adhere to governmental policies worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste products. Business Employees: Take an active function by following the recycling treatments, Have a favorable attitude to waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Recommend or recommend methods of decreasing waste. At our Clients' facility-- All CSI staff members should follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use separate containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not throw away disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleaning products, Speak with your Manager or the Recycling Coordinator of the center for any additional info relating to the center's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for trash and recyclable products at your desk and main areas, Print double sided (conserves up to 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to relieve paper checks to help minimize the general ecological footprint of our organization, Print just when required, Proof checks out files for mistakes prior to printing to prevent waste, Sends out e-mail memos to conserve paper, Prevents printing emails, Reviews any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk for centralized storage, Utilizes email instead of sending letters by post, Switches devices off completely in the evening and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases resilient devices, Has paper recycling stations beside photocopiers and printers, Utilizes energy efficient light bulbs (Usually they consume 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and drink cans, throws caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
