We have created, and will constantly refine, policies, rules, and techniques, which will contribute to the safety of all employee. Creation and preservation of a safe environment is the shared responsibility of management and staff at all levels of the company. For this reason, all practical efforts needs to be made to achieve the goal of accident prevention and protecting employee health. Our thinking is to control and minimize, to the greatest amount possible, any risk involved in the performance of our Property Management. CSI has the responsibility to: Perfectly and thoroughly sustain the Safety Program, Perpetuate a workplace that is safe and healthful for the employees, Obey occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Maintain an advantageous accident avoidance program. We expect all staff members to work according to solid safety procedures as posted, educated on, and reviewed. Supervisors stress that staff observe and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe performance of their job, and shall take such appropriate steps necessary to obtain compliance. Staff will subscribe to the company safety program by obeying all safety rules, bringing unsafe conditions to the attention of management and recommending actions to improve the effectiveness of the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so important—nor any service so critical—that employees should avoid working safely. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI International, Inc. is committed to providing a clean and healthy workplace for all our staff and your building’s occupants. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton issued this presidential Executive Order 13101 which directed the facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities worldwide to start the use of green cleaning products. Executive Order 13101 also defined green cleaning for the first time, communicating that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now means the best use of goods that reduce indoor pollution as well as reduce environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Maintenance of a healthy workplace is the joint job of management and staff at all levels of the CSI company. All employees are trained and held responsible to reach the goal of eliminating the exterior’s impact on the local environment and to highlight and exercise environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and procedures. CSI comprehends that the principle of stewardship-- "the duty for managing, supervising the quality or performing, state or condition of a commercial or institutional building"- is necessary to the green cleaning perspective and essential to the success of our green cleansing program. CSI is committed to follow a set of stewardship principles that have been developed by leaders of the green cleaning movement. These principles will assist in our efforts to be great stewards of the buildings we service, their residents, our employees, and the general environment.
