To reach this high mark CSI has created the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training inorder to manage CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality process throughout all segments of our company. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the execution and devotion to our high standards for assessing job performance, implementing training programs and acknowledging and surpassing our customer’s expectations. The result is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI utilizes multiple traditional validation tools to ensure that we are consistently delivering the Corporate Facility Services promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste decrease and will comply with its clients recycling treatments. We are accountable to develop, manage, and fully support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our staff members. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our staff members in the value of ecological and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and cultivate a favorable attitude towards recycling, Act as an intermediary in between CSI and our customers, Assist our customers with the execution of their recycling procedures, Comply with governmental policies concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a favorable mindset to waste decrease and recycling within your workspace, Recommend or recommend ways of minimizing waste. At our Clients' center-- All CSI employees need to follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to collect recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary details, Do not discard disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleaning products, Consult with your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional details relating to the facility's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Usage different containers for garbage and recyclable products at your desk and central locations, Print double sided (saves approximately 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to minimize paper checks to assist reduce the general environmental footprint of our company, Print just when necessary, Proof reads files for errors before printing to prevent waste, Sends out e-mail memos to save paper, Avoids printing emails, Evaluates any paper copy storage, replace with a back- up disk drive for centralized storage, Uses e-mail rather of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off entirely at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases resilient devices, Has paper recycling stations beside photocopiers and printers, Utilizes energy efficient light bulbs (Usually they consume 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Recycles envelopes for internal blood circulation, Recycles clean side of used paper for internal printing, Transforms scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Tries to utilize paper for more than one function, Recycles inbound packaging and boxes for outgoing shipments, Removes plastic drink cups from the water cooler and utilize multiple-use mugs, Repairs furnishings where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, throws caps and lids in the garbage, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
