We have developed, and will constantly refine, policies, rules, and techniques, which will contribute to the safety of all employee. Creation and maintenance of a safe setting is a shared responsibility of management and staff at all levels of the company. For this purpose, every reasonable effort should be taken to achieve the objective of improved safety and protecting employee health. Our ideology is to control and minimize, to the greatest extent possible, any risk associated in the undertaking of our Human Resources Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Perfectly and thoroughly support the Safety Program, Maintain a working environment that is safe and healthful for the employees, Follow occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate an effective accident prevention program. CSI expects all employees to work according to solid safe practices as posted, trained, and discussed. Management stress that employees observe and obey every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe conduct of work, and require they take action needed to obtain compliance. Staff will subscribe to the company safety program by obeying all safety rules, advising management of unsafe conditions and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so crucial—nor any service so critical—that staff cannot take the time to work safely. Green Cleaning is described as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is devoted to delivering a clean and healthy workplace for all our staff and yours. Presidential Executive Order 13101, delivered in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton required the use of green cleaning products by facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities worldwide. Executive Order 13101 also defined green cleaning for the first time, saying that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now means the best use of products that diminish indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Preservation of a healthy environment is the shared job of supervisors and employees at all levels of the CSI company. Every staff member is trained and held responsible to reach the goal of minimizing the exterior’s impact on the local environment and to highlight and exercise environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI understands that the principle of stewardship-- "the obligation for managing, supervising the quality or performing, state or condition of an institutional or industrial structure"- is vital to the green cleansing viewpoint and integral to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is committed to follow a set of stewardship principles that have been established by pioneers of the green cleaning movement. These principles will help in our efforts to be good stewards of the buildings we service, their residents, our employees, and the overall environment. Clean for health very first and appearance 2nd, Decrease human exposure to contaminants and cleansing items, Acknowledge cleansing as an ecological health advantage, Dedicate to occupational advancement of cleansing personnel, Communicate the worth of healthy buildings, Lessen wetness, particle and chemical residue when cleaning, Make sure employee and occupant safety, Contain and minimize all pollutants getting in the building, Dispose of cleaning items in environmentally safe ways, Establish and record routine maintenance schedules.
