Facilities Management Brooklyn

“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." Andrew Carnegie

CSI INTERNATIONAL, INC. Facilities Management CSI utilizes multiple traditional validation tools to guarantee that we are continually delivering the Facilities Management promised with the best quality. Our staff is our most valuable resource and all members of the CSI family is entitled to a safe and healthful workplace. Employee health and safety is one of our business priorities and it is a CSI objective to maintain a clean, safe and healthy work setting for all employees. CSI adheres to all safety and health requirements that are enforced by local, state and federal authorities. CSI provides safety procedures, executive controls, personal safety equipment and instruction to dampen and diminish exposure to dangerous material and prevent injury and illness. CSI has developed, and will continually refine, policies, rules, and techniques, which will improve upon the safety of everyone around. Creation and maintenance of a safe environment is a joint function of management and staff at all levels of the company. For this reason, every sensible effort needs to be taken to achieve the intention of accident prevention and health preservation. Our thinking is to control and eliminate, to the maximum amount, any risk associated in the performance of our Facilities Management. CSI has the accountability to: Perfectly and thoroughly sustain the Safety Program, Perpetuate a place of employment that is safe and healthy for the staff, Follow occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate an advantageous accident avoidance program. We expect all employees to work in a manner of good safety procedures as displayed, trained, and talked about. Management stress that employees witness and execute every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe conduct of work, and require they take action needed to secure compliance. Staff will submit to the company safety program by following all safety rules, telling management about unsafe situations and bringing up possible ways to improve the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so pertinent—nor any service so urgent—that staff cannot take the time to work safely. Green Cleaning is described as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is committed to delivering a clean and healthy workplace for every one of our employees and your building’s occupants. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton issued this presidential Executive Order 13101 which lead the facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings worldwide to start the use of green cleaning products. The Order also clarified what green cleaning is for the first time, stating that green cleaning is the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the most favorable use of products that diminish indoor pollution as well as reduce environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Maintaining of a healthy workplace is the shared job of supervisors and employees at every stage of the CSI company. Every staff member is trained and held responsible to reach the goal of minimizing the exterior’s role on the local environment and to emphasize and execute environmentally safe, minimal impact cleaning chemicals and procedures. CSI understands that the concept of stewardship-- "the duty for managing, carrying out or monitoring the quality, state or condition of an institutional or business building"- is vital to the green cleaning perspective and integral to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is committed to follow a set of stewardship principles that have actually been established by leaders of the green cleansing motion. These concepts will help in our efforts to be great stewards of the buildings we service, their occupants, our workers, and the general environment. Tidy for health very first and look 2nd, Decrease human direct exposure to impurities and cleansing items, Recognize cleansing as an ecological health benefit, Devote to occupational development of cleaning workers, Communicate the worth of healthy structures, Reduce moisture, chemical and particle residue when cleaning, Ensure employee and resident security, Contain and reduce all contaminants entering the structure, Dispose of cleansing items in environmentally safe ways, Develop and document routine upkeep schedules.
