The motivator behind our Quality Program is the creation of a quality craft that pays particular attention to customer’s expectations, involves every level of employee, constantly measures performance, and strives to continually improve. Inorder to achieve this our Quality Plan has as a base, a management process, and a set of guidelines that are relayed to all departments and levels of the company to insure that all employees continuously reach or exceed our customer’s requirements. CSI’s senior management team has worked to organize its Operations Management strategy and operations around our customer’s requirements, and to create and sustain a culture with full employee participation. Quality for CSI is a task of continued improvement, not just an observation platform. What that means is supervision and management must relay a standard of Operations Management every employee understands and believes in. To meet this challenge CSI has established the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage our QA Program and to directly oversee the quality process throughout all departments of our business. This job relies on direct reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and maintains constant vigilance on the execution and devotion to our high standards for evaluating job performance, implementing training programs and identifying and surpassing our client’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has developed the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our clients. Our clients receive regular quality reports by email or hard copy. These update overview documents are capable of providing a full work-site overview while including graphs for visual reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes a series of more typical surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Operations Management. Every building has different requirements that require us to individualize a program that fits well with its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision responsible, and employees up to date. The outcome is the attainment of service excellence for the client. CSI deploys multiple traditional validation tools to ensure that we are continually delivering the Operations Management promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its clients recycling treatments. We are responsible to develop, manage, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients along with our workers. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the significance of environmental and recycling practices, Motivate involvement and cultivate a positive attitude to recycling, Function as a liaison between CSI and our customers, Assist our clients with the application of their recycling procedures, Adhere to governmental regulations concerning the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a favorable attitude towards waste decrease and recycling within your workspace, Suggest or recommend ways of reducing waste. At our Customers' center-- All CSI staff members should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use separate containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary info, Do not throw away disposable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleaning items, Talk to your Manager or the Recycling Coordinator of the center for any additional details relating to the facility's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and main locations, Print double sided (conserves as much as 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to alleviate paper checks to assist decrease the total ecological footprint of our organization, Print only when necessary, Proof reads files for mistakes before printing to avoid waste, Sends out email memos to conserve paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Examines any hard copy storage, change with a back- up disk drive for central storage, Utilizes e-mail instead of corresponding by post, Changes equipment off entirely at night and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases resilient devices, Has paper recycling stations beside copy machines and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (Usually they consume 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Recycles envelopes for internal blood circulation, Recycles clean side of utilized paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Attempts to utilize paper for more than one function, Recycles inbound product packaging and boxes for outgoing deliveries, Removes plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and use multiple-use mugs, Repair works furnishings where possible or donate it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and use as packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and drink cans, tosses caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and smart phones.
