We have created, and will continually refine, policies, rules, and techniques, which will add to the safety of everyone around. Development and maintenance of a safe setting is a shared responsibility of management and staff at all levels of the organization. To this end, every reasonable effort needs to be taken to accomplish the objective of improved safety and health preservation. Our ideology is to control and eliminate, to the maximum amount, any risk involved in the performance of our Reliable Custodial Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Wholly and entirely reinforce the Safety Program, Perpetuate a working environment that is safe and healthy for the staff, Follow occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate an effective accident prevention plan. We expect all employees to work according to good safety procedures as posted, educated on, and discussed. Supervisors require that staff observe and execute every rule, regulation and order necessary for the safe performance of labor, and shall take such appropriate steps necessary to secure compliance. Employees will subscribe to the company safety program by following all safety rules, letting management know of safety concerns and recommending ways to improve upon the CSI Safety Program. There is no task so pertinent—nor any service so critical—that staff cannot take the time to work safely. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI International, Inc. is devoted to delivering a clean and healthy working environment for all our employees and yours. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton issued this presidential Executive Order 13101 which lead the use of green cleaning products by facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings globally. Executive Order 13101 also defined green cleaning for the first time, saying that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the most favorable use of goods that diminish indoor pollution as well as reduce environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Maintaining of a healthy environment is the joint task of supervisors and staff at every level of the CSI company. All employees are trained and held accountable to achieve the goal of minimizing the exterior’s role on the local environment and to emphasize and practice environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI understands that the idea of stewardship-- "the duty for managing, performing or supervising the quality, state or condition of a industrial or institutional building"- is essential to the green cleaning point of view and essential to the success of our green cleaning program.
