The primary purpose of our Quality Program is the creation of a quality craft that pays particular attention to customer’s needs, involves every level of employee, constantly measures performance, and strives to continually improve. Inorder to achieve this our Quality Plan has as a base, a management plan, and a set of guidelines that are relayed to all facets of the organization to make sure that we continuously reach or surpass our client’s needs. CSI’s senior management team has committed to organize its Custodial Services strategy and operations around our customer’s requirements, and to create and sustain a way of life with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a process of continued enhancement, not just an inspection program. It means supervisors and management must enforce a standard of Custodial Services every employee follows and trusts. To meet this challenge CSI has established the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality process throughout all segments of our company. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the implementation and adherence to our top levels for gauging job performance, executing training programs and recognizing and exceeding our client’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has deployed the Eye on Quality program. This program’s objective is to achieve superior service quality levels for our customers. Our clients will get periodic quality reports via email or print copy. These update overview documents are capable of providing a complete job site review while including graphs for visual reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Custodial Services. Every facility has unique challenges that require us to customize a program that supports its culture. Guided by the stipulations and adjusted for your individual needs, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision responsible, and employees up to date. The end result is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI uses several standard validation tools to guarantee that we are continually delivering the Custodial Services promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active function in recycling and waste reduction and will abide by its customers recycling treatments. We are responsible to develop, handle, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers along with our employees. Our obligations include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our workers in the importance of environmental and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and cultivate a favorable attitude towards recycling, Act as a liaison between CSI and our customers, Help our customers with the application of their recycling procedures, Adhere to governmental policies concerning the reduction, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste products. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a favorable mindset towards waste reduction and recycling within your workspace, Recommend or recommend methods of lowering waste. At our Consumers' center-- All CSI workers must follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage separate containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Usage different containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not get rid of disposable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing products for our cleaning products, Speak with your Manager or the Recycling Coordinator of the facility for any additional information relating to the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Usage different containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and central locations, Print double sided (conserves up to 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to reduce paper checks to assist reduce the total environmental footprint of our organization, Print only when necessary, Evidence checks out files for mistakes before printing to avoid waste, Sends out e-mail memos to conserve paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Reviews any paper copy storage, change with a back- up hard drive for central storage, Uses email rather of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off entirely in the evening and at weekends, Puts equipment on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting equipment, Has paper recycling stations beside copy machines and printers, Utilizes energy efficient light bulbs (On average they take in 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal blood circulation, Recycles tidy side of utilized paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Attempts to utilize paper for more than one function, Reuses incoming product packaging and boxes for outgoing deliveries, Eliminates plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and use recyclable mugs, Repairs furnishings where possible or donate it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and use as packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and containers, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, throws caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
