The motivator behind our Quality Program is the establishment of a quality culture that focuses on customer’s demands, involves every level of employee, constantly measures performance, and thrives on continuous improvement. Inorder to create this culture our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management process, and a set of disciplines that are coordinated to all facets of the organization to make sure that all employees consistently meet or surpass our client’s needs. CSI’s senior management team has committed to organize its Facilities Operations strategy and operations around our customer’s requirements, and to create and sustain a way of life with full employee participation. Quality for CSI is a process of continuous advancement, not just an inspection program. What that means is supervisors and management must communicate a standard of Facilities Operations the line worker understands and believes in. To reach this high mark CSI has established the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing CSI’s QA Program and to pay close attention to the quality procedures throughout all departments of our company. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the execution and devotion to our high standards for gauging job performance, executing training programs and identifying and exceeding our client’s expectations. With this in mind CSI has deployed the Eye on Quality program. The program’s task is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our customers. Our customers receive periodic quality reports via email or print copy. These analysis documents are capable of providing a complete job site review while including graphs for visual reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to assist CSI’s Quality Assurance Team in determining customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Facilities Operations. Every facility has unique situations that require us to individualize a program that fits well with its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in touch, supervision responsible, and employees informed. The result is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI utilizes several traditional validation tools to ensure that we are continually providing the Facilities Operations promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will adhere to its clients recycling procedures. We are responsible to develop, manage, and fully support the recognized Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients as well as our workers. Our duties include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Stimulate the interest of our employees in the value of environmental and recycling practices, Encourage participation and cultivate a positive attitude to recycling, Function as an intermediary between CSI and our clients, Assist our clients with the execution of their recycling treatments, Comply with governmental regulations worrying the decrease, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste items. Business Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a positive mindset to waste decrease and recycling within your workspace, Suggest or recommend ways of minimizing waste. At our Clients' facility-- All CSI staff members need to follow the facility's recycling program and the following steps: Use different containers to collect recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to collect recyclable papers, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and place it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary details, Do not throw away non reusable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging products for our cleaning products, Speak with your Supervisor or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional details concerning the center's recycling treatments. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Use separate containers for trash and recyclable materials at your desk and central places, Print double sided (conserves approximately 50%), Utilizes paperless payroll system to ease paper checks to assist lessen the general environmental footprint of our company, Print just when essential, Proof reads documents for errors prior to printing to avoid waste, Sends email memos to conserve paper, Avoids printing e-mails, Evaluates any hard copy storage, change with a back- up hard drive for centralized storage, Uses email rather of sending letters by post, Changes equipment off completely in the evening and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting equipment, Has paper recycling stations next to copy machines and printers, Uses energy efficient light bulbs (Typically they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Recycles envelopes for internal circulation, Recycles tidy side of used paper for internal printing, Converts scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Aims to use paper for more than one function, Recycles incoming packaging and boxes for outgoing shipments, Gets rid of plastic drink cups from the water cooler and use multiple-use mugs, Fixes furnishings where possible or contribute it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and use as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant material (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and drink cans, throws caps and covers in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles office furniture, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and smart phones.
