CSI International, Inc., began in 1989 with its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida providing outstanding service for over 23 years by exceeding our customers’ expectations offering Quality Facility Services to customers in New York commercial buildings. CSI International, Inc. owners, Jayne and Geoff Hammond, have over 30 years of expertise in the Quality Facility Services field. After 19 years of managing facilities for a Fortune 20 corporation, the Hammonds’ left the business world and began CSI. Their plan to achieve their goal was plain and simple: "Say what we will do, do what we promise and have available for the customer objective evidence of what’s been done”. The success of their efforts is evident in the expansion of CSI from 12 to over 1700 employees currently managing buildings as small as 100,000 sq ft to as large as 3+ million sq ft in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest. CSI’s expansion has been attributed to: Our immaculate reputation, Outstanding customer references, Responses to Quality Survey’s, and Honest Feedback. Throughout CSI’s consistent growth and evolution, our main goal, exceeding our customers’ expectations has constantly remained the same. We take pride in our unequaled reputation for economical solutions and amenable services with relentless quality. What began 20 years ago as a small, family-owned Janitorial Company is now a thriving family-owned building services provider offering a wide range of Quality Facility Services to owners and managers of corporate facilities. Green Cleaning is described as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is devoted to delivering a clean and healthy workplace for every one of our employees and your building’s occupants. In 1992, former President Bill Clinton delivered this presidential Executive Order 13101 which directed the facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings globally to begin the use of green cleaning products. The Order also clarified what green cleaning is for the first time, stating that green cleaning is the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning is now the best use of goods that minimize indoor pollution simultaneously reducing environmental pollution and favor renewable materials. Preservation of a healthy workplace is the joint responsibility of supervisors and employees at all levels of the CSI organization. All staff is trained and held accountable to reach the goal of eliminating the exterior’s role on the local territory and to emphasize and execute environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI comprehends that the concept of stewardship-- "the responsibility for handling, performing or monitoring the quality, state or condition of a commercial or institutional building"- is essential to the green cleansing viewpoint and integral to the success of our green cleansing program. CSI is devoted to follow a set of stewardship principles that have actually been developed by leaders of the green cleansing movement. These concepts will help in our efforts to be good stewards of the structures we service, their residents, our employees, and the general environment. Tidy for health first and look 2nd, Lessen human direct exposure to impurities and cleaning products, Acknowledge cleaning as an environmental health advantage, Devote to occupational advancement of cleaning personnel, Interact the value of healthy structures, Minimize particle, wetness and chemical residue when cleaning, Make sure employee and resident security, Contain and minimize all contaminants getting in the building, Dispose of cleaning items in environmentally safe methods, Develop and document routine upkeep schedules.
