CSI International, Inc., founded in 1989 with its main office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has been providing excellence for over 23 years by exceeding our customers’ expectations offering Quality Facility Maintenance to customers in Rochester commercial buildings. CSI International, Inc.’s founders, Jayne and Geoff Hammond, have over 30 years of expertise in the Quality Facility Maintenance field. After 19 years of managing building operations for a Fortune 20 corporation, the Hammonds’ left the corporate world and began CSI. Their plan for success was short and sweet: "Say what we will do, do what we promise and have available for the customer objective evidence of what’s been done”. The success of their hard work is evident in the expansion of CSI from 12 to over 1700 employees currently servicing buildings as small as 100,000 sq ft to as large as 3+ million sq ft in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest. CSI’s expansion has been attributed to: Our impeccable reputation, Amazing customer referrals, Responses to Quality Survey’s, and Glowing testimonials. Throughout CSI’s constant expansion and advancement, our main goal, exceeding our customers’ expectations has never changed. We pride ourselves in our unparalled reputation for economical solutions and responsive services with relentless quality. What began two decades ago as a small, family-owned Janitorial Company is now a booming family-owned building services provider offering a wide range of Quality Facility Maintenance to owners and managers of commercial buildings. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is committed to providing a clean and healthy workplace for every one of our staff and your building’s tenants. Presidential Executive Order 13101, delivered in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton lead the use of green cleaning products by facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated facilities globally. The Order also established what green cleaning was for the first time, stating that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the most favorable use of goods that diminish indoor pollution simultaneously reducing environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Maintaining of a healthy workplace is the shared responsibility of supervisors and staff at every level of the CSI organization. All employees are trained and held responsible to reach the goal of minimizing the exterior’s impact on the local territory and to emphasize and exercise environmentally safe, minimal impact cleaning chemicals and procedures. CSI comprehends that the idea of stewardship-- "the obligation for handling, monitoring the quality or conducting, state or condition of a commercial or institutional building"- is essential to the green cleaning point of view and important to the success of our green cleaning program. CSI is dedicated to follow a set of stewardship principles that have been developed by leaders of the green cleaning movement. These concepts will help in our efforts to be good stewards of the structures we service, their occupants, our employees, and the overall environment. Tidy for health first and look 2nd, Minimize human exposure to pollutants and cleaning items, Acknowledge cleaning as an ecological health advantage, Devote to occupational development of cleansing personnel, Interact the worth of healthy structures, Decrease chemical, particle and wetness residue when cleaning, Ensure worker and resident security, Contain and lower all contaminants entering the structure, Dispose of cleansing products in ecologically safe ways, Establish and document routine upkeep schedules.
