To reach this high mark CSI has developed the position of Director of Corporate Quality and Training designed specifically to manage our QA Program and to directly oversee the quality process throughout all aspects of our company. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the execution and devotion to our high standards for gauging job performance, implementing training programs and identifying and surpassing our customer’s expectations. The end result is the achieving of service excellence for the client. CSI uses several traditional validation tools to guarantee that we are continually delivering the Night Custodial Services promised with the best quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste reduction and will comply with its clients recycling treatments. We are responsible to establish, manage, and fully support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our customers in addition to our workers. Our responsibilities include: Corporate and Field Management, Site Managers and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our employees in the importance of environmental and recycling practices, Encourage involvement and foster a favorable mindset to recycling, Act as an intermediary between CSI and our clients, Help our customers with the execution of their recycling treatments, Abide by governmental policies concerning the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling procedures, Have a favorable mindset towards waste decrease and recycling within your working area, Suggest or suggest ways of minimizing waste. At our Customers' center-- All CSI workers should follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to collect recyclable documents, Gray brute with black liner is for gathering trash, Blue brute with clear liner is for collecting recycling paper, Use separate containers to collect recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Collect shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not get rid of disposable gloves in the garbage containers, Recycle all packaging materials for our cleansing products, Talk to your Supervisor or the Recycling Coordinator of the facility for any extra information regarding the center's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and position them in the commingle compactor, Usage different containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and central locations, Print double sided (saves as much as 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to relieve paper checks to assist lessen the overall environmental footprint of our organization, Print only when required, Evidence reads documents for errors before printing to prevent waste, Sends out e-mail memos to save paper, Prevents printing e-mails, Reviews any hard copy storage, change with a back- up disk drive for centralized storage, Utilizes email instead of sending letters by post, Switches equipment off completely at night and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases durable devices, Has paper recycling stations beside photocopiers and printers, Utilizes energy efficient light bulbs (On average they take in 8% less energy than a standard bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (more than likely paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, tosses caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
