Our philosophy is to command and reduce, to the greatest extent possible, any risk associated in the performance of our Integrated Services. CSI has the responsibility to: Fully and completely support the Safety Program, Perpetuate a working environment that is safe and healthful for the staff, Comply with occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders, Perpetuate an effective accident prevention program. CSI expects all employees to work in a manner of good safety procedures as displayed, trained, and reviewed. Supervisors shall insist that staff witness and execute every rule, regulation and order needed for the safe conduct of work, and shall take such action necessary to obtain compliance. Staff will contribute to CSI’s safety program by obeying all safety rules, advising management of unsafe conditions and recommending actions to improve the effectiveness of the CSI Safety Program. There is no job so crucial—nor any service so urgent—that staff should avoid working safely. Green Cleaning is defined as “Cleaning to protect health without harming the environment” - Executive Order 13101. CSI is devoted to delivering a clean and healthy place of employment for every one of our employees and your building’s occupants. Presidential Executive Order 13101, issued in 1992, by former President Bill Clinton lead the use of green cleaning products by facility managers of more than 100,000 federally owned or operated buildings worldwide. Executive Order 13101 also defined green cleaning for the first time, stating that it’s the “use of products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to similar products and services used for the same purpose.” Green cleaning now stands for the best use of products that diminish indoor pollution while reducing environmental pollution and favor sustainable materials. Maintenance of a healthy environment is the joint job of supervisors and staff at all levels of the CSI company. Every staff member is trained and held accountable to reach the goal of eliminating the exterior’s impact on the local territory and to emphasize and execute environmentally safe, low impact cleaning chemicals and practices. CSI understands that the idea of stewardship-- "the duty for handling, performing or supervising the quality, state or condition of an institutional or commercial building"- is essential to the green cleaning viewpoint and important to the success of our green cleaning program.
