To create this culture our Quality Plan has as a foundation, a management process, and a set of guidelines that are relayed to all departments and levels of the organization to make sure that we consistently reach or surpass our customer’s requirements. CSI’s upper management team has dedicated themselves to organize its Facility Maintenance strategy and operations to be in line with our customer’s requirements, and to create and sustain a culture with full employee involvement. Quality for CSI is a task of continuous improvement, not just an inspection program. What that means is supervision and management must communicate a standard of Facility Maintenance everyone understands and believes in. To achieve this goal CSI has established the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training for the purposes of managing CSI’s QA Program and to directly oversee the quality procedures throughout all aspects of our company. This role communicates directly with the Chief Operating Officer and pays great attention to the implementation and adherence to our high standards for assessing job performance, executing training programs and acknowledging and surpassing our customer’s expectations. Thinking of these CSI has developed the Eye on Quality program. This program’s objective is to far exceed traditional service quality levels for our customers. Our customers will get periodic quality reports via email or print copy. These inspection reports will provide a complete job site review as well as visual and graphic-based reporting. In addition, our Eye on Quality program includes typical surveys and inspections to help our Quality Assurance Team determine customers’ management and their client’s satisfaction with the quality of our Facility Maintenance. Every building has different requirements that require us to individualize a program that works best for its culture. Driven by the specifications and modified by your unique requirements, inspections and surveys keep management in the loop, supervision accountable, and employees informed. The outcome is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI uses several traditional validation tools to ensure that we are consistently providing the Facility Maintenance promised with the best quality. The Green Seal Standard for Commercial and Institutional Cleansing Providers GS-42, develops environmental requirements for cleaning service providers of industrial, public, and institutional buildings, including in-house and external cleaning services, to produce a green cleaning program that safeguards human health and the environment. The standard takes a systems approach with cleansing. Guidance is provided for tools and products used for cleansing (exactly what is used for cleansing) and includes staff training and preparation (how cleaning is done). The requirement also consists of focus on ecological improvements that minimize toxicity, waste, and exposure to both building occupants and custodial staff. The requirement can function as a tool to help companies begin to act to enhance their cleaning service and is readily available for Green Seal accreditation.
