To achieve this goal CSI has created the job of Director of Corporate Quality and Training inorder to manage our QA Program and to directly oversee the quality procedures throughout all aspects of our company. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and keeps a watchful eye on the execution and devotion to our high standards for measuring job performance, executing training programs and recognizing and surpassing our customer’s expectations. The result is the achieving of service excellence for the customer. CSI uses multiple traditional validation tools to guarantee that we are consistently delivering the Environmental Protection promised with uncompromising quality. CSI takes an active role in recycling and waste decrease and will comply with its customers recycling treatments. We are responsible to develop, manage, and totally support the established Recycling Program of CSI and those of each of our clients in addition to our staff members. Our obligations include: Corporate and Field Management, Website Supervisors and Supervisors: Promote the interest of our staff members in the importance of ecological and recycling practices, Motivate participation and cultivate a favorable mindset towards recycling, Serve as an intermediary between CSI and our customers, Help our customers with the execution of their recycling procedures, Abide by governmental policies worrying the reduction, reuse, recycling and healing of waste items. Company Employees: Take an active role by following the recycling treatments, Have a positive mindset towards waste reduction and recycling within your working area, Advise or suggest methods of reducing waste. At our Customers' facility-- All CSI staff members need to follow the center's recycling program and the following steps: Usage different containers to gather recyclable papers, Gray brute with black liner is for collecting garbage, Blue brute with clear liner is for gathering recycling paper, Use different containers to gather recyclable documents, Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and place them in the commingle compactor, Gather shredded paper in clear liners and put it in the recycling compactor or container for proprietary information, Do not throw away non reusable gloves in the trash containers, Recycle all packing products for our cleaning items, Talk to your Manager or the Recycling Planner of the facility for any additional info relating to the facility's recycling procedures. CSI REDUCES: Collect cans, plastic and bottles in blue liners and put them in the commingle compactor, Usage separate containers for garbage and recyclable materials at your desk and central locations, Print double sided (saves as much as 50%), Uses paperless payroll system to reduce paper checks to assist minimize the general environmental footprint of our company, Print only when essential, Evidence checks out files for errors before printing to prevent waste, Sends out email memos to save paper, Avoids printing emails, Evaluates any hard copy storage, change with a back- up hard disk for central storage, Uses e-mail instead of corresponding by post, Changes devices off entirely in the evening and at weekends, Puts devices on power save where possible, Purchases long lasting equipment, Has paper recycling stations beside photocopiers and printers, Uses energy effective light bulbs (On average they take in 8% less energy than a basic bulb It lasts about 12 times longer), Flattens all cardboard boxes. REUSES: Reuses envelopes for internal flow, Reuses tidy side of used paper for internal printing, Transforms scrap paper into post-it notes, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Purchases sticky labels to cover old addresses and reuse envelopes externally, Tries to use paper for more than one purpose, Reuses inbound product packaging and boxes for outgoing shipments, Removes plastic beverage cups from the water cooler and utilize multiple-use mugs, Repairs furniture where possible or donate it to charity, Shreds low-quality paper and usage as product packaging. RECYCLES: Recycles our dominant product (probably paper), Recycles corrugated cardboard, Recycles aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles and jars, and tin/steel food and beverage cans, throws caps and lids in the trash, Recycles toner and inkjet cartridges, Recycles workplace furnishings, Recycles batteries, Recycles our IT Hardware and mobile phones.
